American actress, Kristen Stewart, known for playing the protagonist Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga film series from 2008–12, which has grossed over $3.3 billion worldwide, looks stunning in Gucci on the latest cover of ELLE UK for the month of September 2015.
In a new interview with the glossy mag, conducted by her friend and fellow actress Juliette Lewis, Kristen, one of the few young actresses working successfully across Hollywood blockbusters, high fashion and cultish Indie movies today, insists she's a pretty light-hearted person away from the cameras.
Telling Juliette that fans assume she never smiles.
'The whole smiling thing is weird because I actually smile a lot,' she insists. 'I literally want to be like, "Dude, you would think I was cool if you got to know me."'
She also explains why she keeps her life private and doesn't share her world on social media like so many of her Hollywood peers.
'I'm not anti social media. I just haven't decided to do it,' she points out. 'The idea of addressing such a massive group… If I don't know who I'm talking to it doesn't make any f**king sense to me'.
The chat soon moves onto feminism. While Kristen reveals that her mentor is Patti Smith, Juliette confesses that she looks up to comedian and actress Amy Schumer, who has taught her that 'girls need to quit saying sorry so much'.
Kristen admits that she is prone to that trait, confessing: 'I apologise constantly, incessantly'…. There's something so natural about saying yes I think with women there's a natural inclination to want to satisfy people'.
