According to Punch: Popular Nigerian comic actor, filmmaker, director and producer, Bolaji Amusan, otherwise called Mr. Latin, has debunked claim that his other business concerns and engagements have taken the shine off his acting.

"I just finished the production of my movie titled, Double Double. So, I still act, and I have not abandoned the profession for any other business. I still maintain my role as number one in Yoruba comedy, producing movies and acting as well. I am only encouraging the younger generation to exhibit their talents too. It is also the same thing in fuji music, as Wasiu Ayinde allows the young ones to be on the stage," said, Mr. Latin, who is currently busy with the logistics of the fifth edition of the annual Mr. Latin Foundation.

Mr. Latin Foundation is expected to be graced by dignitaries from all walks of life who will, on Sunday, converge on the main auditorium of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Complex in Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

This year’s edition of the event will commemorate the United Nation’s International Day of Peace observed around the world on September 21 of every year.

With the theme, ‘No alternative to peace,’ the programme promises to feature speakers, such as the Foundation Board Chairman of the West African Network for Peace building in Nigeria, Prof. Isaac Albert. It will also be chaired by a former Deputy Director of the European Peace University, Austria, Prof. Rasheed Akinyemi.
